Etec 1200mah amperage

RC Groups Discussion - Ultimate E-Starter thread?: "The etec 1200 cells are really rated to 6c continuous, 8c burst...you can't really infer from that that you can do 7.5c continuous... I found some places claiming that thunder power 2100's were good for 8c continuous and while they will DO it, you will damage the cells and/or get reduced capacity from them at those kinds of draws. I'd limit a 2s1p etec 1200 to 7.5a continuous... which in reality is more like 8a static or maybe higher depending on the prop."
